The San Francisco Young Playwrights Foundation is an all-volunteer arts organization that survives through your generous support. The Festival will be the first of its kind in the City. Currently San Francisco has NO citywide student playwriting festival. Other cities such as New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago all support students through an annual playwriting contest. It is about time that San Francisco focus the spotlight on its talented young artists with its own young playwrights festival.
